Bledsoe Photo Collection, 1880-1974 (bulk 1910-1930).

This collection contains panoramas, original and copy prints, postcards and a photograph album primarily of Bisbee, Arizona from the turn of the century to the 1930s. There are portraits of Bledsoe and his wife including an image of Bledsoe in his office displaying his pharmacy, and photographs of his Tucson office (1811 E. Speedway) and his Tucson homes (85 Camino Espanol and 1039 N. 6th Avenue). There are birds-eye-views of Bisbee street scenes including a view taken during a fire. Photographs of the Calumet and Arizona Hospital show interior and exterior views from about 1920. There are also group photographs of Masons, both portraits and parade scenes; a group identified as "Bisbee Officers 1917"; and boy scouts and scout masters on a mountain camping trip. One 1897 photograph of a Mason's meeting inside Copper Queen Cave lists all the group's members on the back. Also present is a copy print of a 36-horse team hauling water to Tombstone in 1880; photographs of a Douglas airplane circa 1920; and views of the road between Bisbee and Douglas. Approximately nine panoramas were taken by the Irwin photography studio; these depict Bisbee birds-eye-views, a march of U.S. Army Cavalry soldiers about 1905, a group of Tohono O'odham Indians selling ollas, and a Bisbee-Douglas Highway Meet on Sept. 6, 1920. The photograph album contains photographs and postcards from Alaska and Utah.
